An observation on a 3 day-seminar
between Cambodian-Thai NGOs in Siem Reap and Sisaket where 160 people
participated.
Dr. Aggarphong who is a guest
speaker and a lecture from Dhammastra University,
Thailand said that so far
Thai Scholars and politicians have never told Thai people, especially the
student any truth history about Thailand.
They have tried to provoke Thai people to hate Cambodia, according to The Hoya, a
graduated young Cambodian politician.
Today, I am telling you all here the
truth, said Dr. Aggarphong. He added, Thai people say they lost their land to Cambodia. I
don’t know why they say like that? According to Thai history, Thai fled from Northern China. Therefore, Thailand
does not lose any land to Cambodia,
because they have no land to lose. It is true to say they lost land to China because they fled from China.
During these three day seminar,
it was concerned that Thai government spies were present in the seminar. These
spies are from both Thai army and local authorities, said Thy Hoya, a graduated
young Cambodian politician who observed the seminar.
According to Hoya conclusion and analysis, the speech
delivered by Dr. Aggarphong was the best for us. However, I am concerned
whether Dr. Aggarphong security is good after his speech and when he returns to
Thailand.
